Baron Davis joins SportsIcon for an exclusive event 🏀
We are over the moon to announce basketball legend Baron Davis (@BaronDavis) will be Joining SportsIcon Lion Club for an exclusive webinar that will kick off with an interview followed by a community Q&A.
For the unacquainted, American-born Baron Davis is a former NBA star whose stellar balling career spanned 13 years across a long list of some of the best teams in the biz. Nowadays, Baron is a serial-entrepreneur and investor who still somehow manages to find the time to provide his invaluable sporting analysis on The NBA on TNT.
Baron is a two-time NBA All-Star, made the 2004 All-NBA Third Team, and led the NBA in steals not just once, but twice. He was drafted with the third overall pick in the 1999 NBA draft by the Charlotte Hornets and from there went onto play for the New Orleans Hornets, the Golden State Warriors, the Los Angeles Clippers, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the New York Knicks. The man behind an incredible career, Baron Davis is an inspirational icon to many and there’s absolutely no wondering why we’re over the moon to be with us at SportsIcon for this special occasion ❤️
The Main Event
Our SportsIcon Lion Club webinar will begin with a 15-minute interview with Baron beginning at 10am PST Wednesday the 28th October hosted by the wonderful Jordan Fliegel (@jordanfliegel), MD at Techstars.
After what will surely be an incredible and insightful interview between Baron and Jordan, we will close out this exclusive event with Baron in a 45-minute community Q&A hosted Alexi Yovanoff, co-founder of SportsIcon.
Our SportsIcon community will be able to submit their questions to Baron by chat but are encouraged to join Baron on the stage and ask the great man questions directly! Be sure to think of the most unique and interesting questions you can imagine!
Lion Club Members: you will not want to miss this event because Baron will be selecting his 3 favourite questions you ask him direct on the stage! The three winners judged by Baron will a copy of their Lion artwork signed by the man himself 🖋
