Romelu Lukaku is one of the greatest football players in the world today! He’s the Belgium national team all-time top goalscorer, the most expensive player of all time cumulatively. He has played for some of the biggest clubs on the planet,, including Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Chelsea.
Lukaku has teamed up with SportsIcon, the premier NFT and Metaverse platform for sports.
Together we have created something entirely groundbreaking and unique — an NFT Club with a global sports icon!

What does the Lukaku membership token look like?
It is a PFP of Lukaku representing his journey, achievements and culture created by top artists.
Who are the artists?
Untitled Artwork is a collaboration of 3 artists — Karl Thyer, Yoni Weisberg and Dan Cally.
Individually they have worked for numerous major brands including UEFA, BBC Sport, Match of the Day Magazine, These Football Times, Liverpool FC, New Balance and many more.
Karl is an artist whose work is famous in the sports community the world over and has been loved and shared by some of the biggest football players on the planet. Yoni is a multi-disciplined creative force — an award-winning filmmaker who recently directed the title sequence for Euro 2020 on the BBC, and his illustration work has been seen on magazine covers and billboards alike. Cally is a successful entrepreneur with a distinct artistic style, and he has seen his artwork popularised by figures such as Steven Gerrard.
Together they are a team of boundary-pushing artists setting forth into the Metaverse working with brands to build compelling communities with stunning pieces at their heart. Alongside this, they are building their own online platform producing content to educate aspiring artists trying to develop their work and build towards a successful career as a freelance artist or running their own store.

What is a cinematic NFT?
Cinematic NFTs have been invented by SportsIcon. Essentially we get two days in the diary with top icons like Lukaku. We then send in world-class directors to produce exclusive cinematic quality content.
Day one is spent filming the icon’s story. Their highs, lows, obstacles they overcame and mindset. Day two, we get them on the training pitch to share their skills, talk through their greatest moments and teach their skills.
Some people have said it’s like Masterclass.com broken down into NFTs.
Amazing, what are the specs?
Each Lukaku membership NFT is unique and programmatically generated from over 40 possible traits, including expression, headwear, clothing, and more.
The Lukaku NFTs are stored as ERC-721 tokens on the Ethereum blockchain and hosted on IPFS. Purchasing a Lukaku NFT costs 0.09 ETH.
Is there a charity component to this?
Yes, we’ll be donating $25k to charity as part of this project. We’ll announce our charity partner soon!
When does the sale take place?
This will be dropping in March or April. Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement!
